Deception is book #4 in Patricia Bradley’s Natchez Trace Park Rangers Series.
This twist-laden novel kept me biting my lip, wondering what would happen next. I had difficulty putting it down because of the suspense and the touch-and-go romance. Patricia Bradley does an outstanding job creating tension and raising the stakes.
ISB ranger Madison Thorn is drawn into an investigation in Natchez, Mississippi, and forced to work with her childhood friend, park ranger Clayton Bradshaw. She remembered him as a bully and was none too happy when he pulled her over on a Natchez National Park Road for speeding.
Park Ranger Clayton Bradshaw is teamed up with Madison to work a case. He rushes to the hospital when he hears Madison was shot and in critical condition at the hospital. He discovers this woman isn’t Madison, but a look alike. What was he missing, and what has Madison not told him?
Deception is one of those must-reads, and I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.
Patricia Bradley is a Romantic Suspense Selah winner, Carol and Daphne du Maurier finalist, and the winner of on Inspirational Readers’ Choice Award. Three anthologies that included her stories debuted on USA Today Best Seller List.
She likes to throw mud on a wheel when she has time and see what happens.
