I love this catchy title and all that it stands for. Every female needs a friend or group of friends who will be open and honest in a positive way, and help her stay focused on what’s right, pure, and true.
Yes Sisters could easily become required mentorship or women’s ministries reading material because, in reality, once you read this book, you’ll see yourself already in action, or you’ll recognize areas that need improvement. You’ll discover the importance of being supportive and encouraging all the time. You’ll read about the personal experiences of others and how their yes sister made a difference in their lives.
Yes Sisters will point you to Jesus. They challenge you to develop a personal relationship with Him and learn to trust and seek Him in every area of your life.
Yes Sisters will help you see how beautiful you really are. True beauty comes from the inside and radiates outwardly. Too many women look at physical appearances and develop opinions. Your physical appearance or color of your skin doesn’t make you who you are. It’s the condition of your heart and the way you think about yourself that affects your overall countenance and attitude. A yes sister offers affirmation and helps you see the real and amazing you.
Every woman desires to be happy and longs to be accepted. A yes sister will help you see those in your life who are negative and who discourage you from reaching for your dreams. She will walk you through areas where forgiveness is necessary and where true peace originates.
Women need each other. Yes, you have your family, your husband, your children, or your pet, but a true, positive, caring, compassionate, loving yes sister will always lift your spirit and help you find the better you.
I love this book. I may have ad-libbed some in this review, but there is so much truth discussed on each page and so much more to say. Men need men in this way too. I’d love for Angelia to write a “Got Your Back, Brother” book for men.
Utilizing the principles in the Bible and the suggestions in this book could create a new era of happy, confident, successful women.
I highly recommend this book! I give it five stars. If there were ten stars, I’d give it a ten.
I received a free copy of this book for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.
